I bought these for my 7 year old daughter. I will be returning them even though she absolutely loves them because of how they are made.Pros: Cute and delicate. Great size for a small ear lobe. The metal seems to be genuine gold because she's gotten no allergic reaction from them.Cons: The posts are very long. The backs are screw-on backs so there isn't a way to tighten them further. Her hair gets caught in them constantly. There's a big gap either between the earring and the front of her ear lobe or the back of her ear and the earring back.Also, the posts are connected to the head of the cat. The neck of the cat is very tiny and weak. Both earrings have bent just from putting them on and taking them off. Each time I handle them, the necks bend further which makes the posts angle downward.
