This is ok for a bit of costume jewelry--certainly not a luxury item. The diamonds are just tiny specs and add a faint sparkle to the piece. The chain is very thin, but I think the main problem is it doesn't hang straight. The end with the pawprint is heavier, so the bar sags down on that side. This would be something cute for a middle schooler, I think. A little better than a place like Claire's, but not something you'd have to worry about losing. I don't know the price at this point, but it shouldn't be very high.

This necklace is tiny. I’m thinking of giving it to my 11 year old niece. But I think it may be even too small for her. Maybe it would work for a toddler or infant for a picture.

I ordered this Area jewels necklace to have something just for fun to wear. However this does not look like a necklace for a woman and instead looks like a very cheap piece of fun jewelry for a kid.The box it came in tore because the cardboard wrapped around it was adhered to it, so I tossed that.The chain on the necklace is very thin—I don’t mind that so much. But the bar part just looks cheap.I can see this for a young girl, except the design isn’t exactly something a young girl would Iike other than the dog paw.I don’t know how much it is to make a comment on value vs what you receive, but I wouldn’t pay more than $20 for this, if that.I was pretty disappointed in the quality and look of it.On the plus side, the paw part of it is cute, and the chain while thin is pretty enough.Just not for me.

This necklace is nice for dog lovers, with its cute little heart/paw design. It is VERY lightweight and delicate. It doesn't look as pretty as it does in the product page photos, but it is still a pretty little necklace. The pendant part doesn't have enough weigh to keep it centered on my neck, so the bar is often crooked rather than straight across my neck. The chain is also very fine, and there is a short extension, larger loops on the end of the regular chain. It's still not going to be overly long even using the extension. It fits where it should on most necks, judging from my own.The diamonds are tiny, as to be expected for 0.08 total carat weight, but they are supposed to be real diamonds and they are supposed to be "conflict free." The current price is not listed at the time I write this review so I don't know if it is a good value, but it's pretty and not garish for everyday wear.

This doesn't look like a dog paw to me. It looks like a heart with 4 petals on it. The open design heart is copper colored, which contrasts against the silver toned bar and necklace.This is so dainty it will get lost on an adult. In fact it looks like something a newborn or toddler would wear. It's flimsy as well. I would not buy this as it looks like baby jewelry except baby jewelry would not be designed with this long of a bar on it.I would pass on this one in the store.

This sterling silver over 14k gold dog paw heart bar necklace is an adorable tribute to your furry pal. It is two-tone (gold and silver) and is a delicate statement piece. Very feminine and pretty.

It is not as big as I thought it would be - rather small actually. It "might" be a nice novelty gift for an animal lover, but be sure to give them a better gift to go with it because this is just not quality enough on its own.This is something I would give to a child not an adult, but it is cute for what it is. Even the thinness of the chain would dictate this is not for an adult.
