I purchased the 1 inch extension and it was all I needed. Bought my 14k gold necklace with an attached pendant. It is 18 inchs and fits, but I wanted a drop. This extension creates the drop.

I only used this extender chain a few times and the piece that holds the clasp broke because it’s so thin. So obviously it cannot be used unless I take to a jeweler for repair which probably would cost another 50-70. Item cheaply made and it was over 70

I bought the extender in April 2023 to give length to a chain I purchased for my husband. It added the right amount of length and hubby & I were happy with it. Not quite 2 months later, the extender has broken and we are very disappointed. The extender is a very thin and delicate as the reviews say, consider that before you buy. The delivery was quick and the extender comes in a beautiful box. All of that is great, it's just a shame it broke so quickly.
