Perfect width, mm. Beautiful rich yellow gold. It's real!!;-) perfect length. I have been buying chains on Etsy, eBay, Overstock, and my last resort for jewelry, smile Amazon. Surprised when this one is the hands down best quality, mm width is easily known (I've purchased several that were easy too delicate, or light or odd) and it's substantial enough to wear on its own or to hold a heavy pendant. But the style and craftsmanship makes it look so feminine and beautiful without overpowering pendant, or neckline, whatever. It will show up over clothes, and under will not get caught. Biggest Bonus: DOES NOT TANGLE! HIP! HIP! HOORAY!!!

I am SO happy I chose this chain! It's exactly what I wanted--a nice solid REAL 14kt gold chain to wear with my pendants--altho it should look pretty worn alone, too, because of its shine. I like having a choice of lengths (I picked the 20") and it drapes very nicely and comfortably around the neck. I wouldn't advise wearing a REALLY heavy pendant on this chain, but regular pendants should be just fine--this seems to be a very sturdy chain. In fact, I love it so much I even sleep in it!! It feels good and it looks great--what more could you ask for??? (Need I add that I'm wearing it as I write this? With one of my favorite pendants??) You can wear it with anything from jeans and a t-shirt to a SERIOUSLY dressy event and either way, you'll look sensational! And let's be honest here--THAT, ladies, is what it's all about! :-)
