The 5mm size was just right, but the posts are too short, barely through my ears, and the backs are miniscule. I'm pretty average adult woman, but I could not manipulate those Itty-bitty backs onto those shrimpy short posts. Good thing I had some other normal, not baby size gold backs. Scrimping on the posts and backs turned an otherwise 5☆ into a 2-3. I had already returned the previous ones I'd ordered, 4mm, which for me were too small for a 2nd piercing, so I guess I'll keep these despite my misgivings. I really hope I don't lose them!

These were sold as 14K. Since I could not locate the 14k stamp on them, I took the to a reputable jeweler who identified them as gold plate over sterling silver! Don't be fooled by adisputable dealer like this one.

Like the studs. The backs are a problem. Drop one of them on the floor and you need a magnifyingglass to find it.
