These are comfortable to wear for long times, they’re of great quality and the magnetic closure holds well. It takes a good amount of movement with force to open them with doing so with your hands. Only problem I had was they sent two different designs in my package.

I'm a little upset. My ear is infected now after wearing these a few times. Didn't wear them to bed, so by taking them out, after the 2nd time, the magnet came out on one but I was still able to get it to go back into place to wear them again. The first couple times I wore them, it was totally fine. My ears weren't hurting, pussing up or inflamed. Today, I had them in for an hour after putting the magnet back inside the hole and it left the magnet exposed microscopically enough to cause my ear to immediately look like this. It hurts. While these ear weights are totally awesome looking, they're defective and will cause infection because magnets shouldn't be touching an open piece of flesh on your body. Please note that my ears have been a 00 for years, so they were fully healed before I put these in to gauge up to a half inch. Whatever the manufacturers are using to hold the magnet in needs to be a LOT stronger than the magnet itself. Great ear weights, terrible hardware & assembly. Pay more attention to this in your quality control, these are going into people's flesh. Now I cant put anything in my ears until this heals and my ears are going to shrink up rather than gauge up like I was hoping for. Going to take months to get my infected and shrinking ear to match the size of my other ear again. I've been safely working on my gauges for 17 years and never once had a tear or infection like this. So instead of spending a month sizing up, I'm going to be spending months, possibly even a year, safely getting back to the size I've been for years. I probably should have just returned them once the magnet came out but now we know that you can't repair them on your own unless you wanna screw up all your years of hard work & patience in safely gauging your ears. Super not happy. Your guinea pig has spoken.

It’s a good product so far. Seems well made, a little heavy but not too heavy weight-wise. Easy to put on & take off.The pieces of advice I’d give if you’re interested & want to keep stretching your earlobes/gauging up (your holes will get gradually stretched when you use these):1. BE CAREFUL when you take them on & off. If you close a piece accidentally on your flesh (skin gets caught), that hurts.2. Don’t go to bed wearing them. Nothing happened when I did, but if you move in your sleep, never know what can happen. And they aren’t what you’re used to with wearing an earring or normal plug. But also, want to give your lobes a break. They’re heavy.3. Expect you may not be able to wear them all day. Work up to it. It’s a weird feeling at first.4. TREAD CAREFULLY if you choose to wear them & your gauged holes haven’t healed completely (like if somehow they get a bit infected). I didn’t & I’m learning to limit my time wearing them. Painful, swollen, crusty, kinda weepy means you need to get some hydrogen peroxide or something up in there.FINALLY: Clean your jewelry daily. I just take some isopropyl alcohol & wipe them down. Easy.

These have the weight! If you're looking for something that's gonna drag ya down but not be a drag - these are them. They're comfortable, not light weight, and the magnets have stayed strong for me. Couldn't ask for better.
