So as the title notes, this is ASTMD F-136 metal grade instead of ASTMD F-138. That said, it still works wonderfully as a taper. Not necessarily something to keep in, but just fine for its purpose.

A must-have for those with internally threaded earrings. Unscrew the top of the earring, place the taper inside the tube, push it out and replace with the new one. I was able to change out earrings within days, not weeks or months after piercing.

This product does 80% of what I need it to do. The thread is too small, so I can’t latch my jewelry onto it, but I can still use it as a guide to get the job done. Yes, I bought the right size gauge because it’s a perfect match to my jewelry.For anyone thinking of buying this or if you already have and left a bad review, pay attention to what you’re buying! Some of the reviews are complaining about getting 2 tapers instead of 3 or 4 when it literally shows that you bought the set of two at the top of your review. SMH. 🤦🏾‍♀️ There are different options people. Look at what it says in the “color” description. You can buy different combinations and that’s exactly what the people with the bad reviews did.

I tried multiple barbells - the gauge is correct but would not thread. Not even sure it’s threaded at all.

Tapers came and were accurate sizes, fit the jewelry they were intended to properly. They give a smooth transition when swapping jewelry.
