These have the California Prop 65 warning on them, which means there is some substance that has been deemed cancer causing by the state of California. However, in this case it's probably the brass these are made from, and unless you were going to wear them every day for a significant amount of time I doubt there would be any issue.I do wonder why they couldn't have just gone with a different material. Still a star off for having to warn at all.The earrings are very light weight considering how big they are. They look great. The patina was done really well.The backs are a gold colored finish, that is bright and shiny, so no worries about what they look like from the back if you have short hair.These earrings come in a lovely see through baggies with gold flowers, pull string & bow like top. It's very cute and likely done nicely enough for most gift giving.At the time of this review the retail price was fourteen bucks, which in my opinion is reasonably priced.Check you allergies, but if you're not allergic to brass, and you like the look of these, I'd recommend them.

I am enjoying these dangle earrings. I’ll admit I’m an old hippy from the 60’s and while times changed and so have I there remains some nostalgia for those times. These harken back to some of those in a way I find appealing while not feeling “dated”. They are indeed a great for present time styles.The style of these earrings is great for a wide variety of looks. I like them when I’m about in jeans and t-shirt or cotton blouse or in more dressy situations when colors complement. They are large and dangle and swing so nicely. Kind of flirty I’d say. They are also light weight and they are comfortable in my ears all day and well into the night.One kind of hot button for me are ear hooks. Too often the ends on inexpensive earrings that I push though my ear holes are not smoothly finished and have sharp edges like they were just clipped off with wire cutters. Not nice and NOT the case here. The ear hooks on the pair I got were smoothly finished and do not scrape or scratch my ear holes as I push then though. A definite plus in affordable earrings.I really like these earrings. The gold with green patina is a lovely look that works dressed up or down. They are comfortable to wear and dangle and swing in a way that looks and feels flirty in a very nice way. This and getting a complement or two make these definitely 5 stars for me.

I was thrilled when I opened these earrings; a feeling that only continued once I put them on.The colors are beautiful with the slightly distressed turquoise patina as a perfect accent to the goldtone of the metal. It reminds me of the sea, which makes these are the most perfect earrings for summer. I'm quite excited to wear them.The fishhook posts are thin enough for my ears (unfortunately, posts are often too thick for my ears, but these are perfect) and the weight of the earrings is surprisingly light. They do not pull my earlobes down and I barely know I have them on. The dangles do twist and turn, but I would expect that, and they right themselves without my having to fuss with them.These are long earrings, but they are very well-proportioned.These come in a mesh bag with gold roses printed on it which makes a nice presentation if giving these as a gift.I'm really happy with these earrings!

Did make sensitive ears itch.They are lovely and well made, larger than expected. Lightweight so no issues with pulling on ears.Come in a cute gold mesh bag.They look very great, but I am concerned about the metal content.Ears itch.

Something about the turquoise patina look that I really like about these earrings. Although they're not too long for me to wear, I prefer making a few more pairs of earrings out of this one pair. The earrings are well made and will be fun to wear in the summer months--anytime, but I see it as more as summer jewelry. The gold accents the turquoise very well. Recommended.

The first thing I noticed about these earrings is how big they are – they are huge! Although they are listed as being for women and girls, because of the size I would say they would not be suitable for younger girls – I think they are best suited for young teenagers and above. The size made me afraid that they would be too heavy for me to wear but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they aren’t heavy at all – in fact they are quite comfortable to wear. They are also fun to wear – I like moving my head just to swish the earrings. The color of the earrings is pretty and these earrings can be worn with a variety of outfits from jeans and a t-shirt to a dress. True, they won’t be mistaken for expensive earrings but they are a lot of fun to wear.I really like these earrings!

These pretty earrings are made with fairly good quality. They are lightweight and a unique design. I love the color and the length of these earrings.
