Bent, warped, not planer, whatever you want to call it. Kind of like those rings that that make like that on purpose in order to fit snugly against an engagement ring to form around the center diamond. I don't think this ring is supposed to be that way though. lol No worries though, because I sent it back and it was easy, fast, free, and I found a ring that I liked better for my fiance and it was less expensive. So I'd say everything turned out fine. :)
