Like the color options, chose pearl to be understated. Package arrived slit open but contents intact. There is a cloth, presumably to clean, and a triangle metal pick which helps unclamp the covers if you don’t have nails to pry open. These are hinged and click to close. Concerned repeated use of pick could slash the button threads. These covers must be placed on after buttoning shirt, and won’t fit through button holes so therefore must be removed before unbuttoning cuffs.These aren’t real gems or precious metal so price is right and they look nice. I’d say the only negative are these are wider in diameter, and stand out way taller. I would have preferred a lower profile, but likely due to the domed design and the depth required to cover various thicknesses of buttons. If wearing no suit jacket, as in photo of shirt, would be obvious these are covers given there is another set of buttons along cuff. The chunky size could also clack against desk, conference table, so use with care so as not to distract.
