i was really surprised at the size. sometimes the birthday jewelry makes me size sad. this did not. i have included a couple photos to show the size - it's big enough to see the constellation. the jewel is a really nice size - large enough to be noticed but not so big that it becomes the only thing that is noticed. the chain is very nice and an ideal length to support a pendant of this size. i am really happy with this necklace - it's a great way to depict the october libra that i soooo am.
