This is the such a nice pendant and chain for a special gift. It presents well in a nice gift box. I was thinking how nice this would be for one of my nieces as an 8th grade graduation gift this next June. It's truly a lovely piece for a young lady just starting to wear nice jewelry in that between age. The youthful flower set upon a more mature heart and stone all in sterling silver ticks all the boxes for a young lady.

I ordered this pendant in the citrine/yellow. I wanted to like it much more than I do. I've decided that I love the idea of it, but it just looks a little mismatched. The flower isn't fancy enough for the rest of the pendant (or, I suppose, the rest of the pendant is too fancy for the flower). Or maybe it's the fact that the flower and gemstone are both yellow and the pendant is silver that bothers me. The pendant is just shy of 1in long, so it definitely stands out when you wear it. It comes on a basic box chain which will be sturdy enough but also seems a bit mismatched in style. The chain is 18in long with an extender that is actually about 1.25in long. It came in a nice little gift box. And it does seem like decent quality, so I'm rating it 4 stars despite the fact that its design doesn't really click for me.

Be careful picking the color stone you want. I wanted the birthstone for March, which is aquamarine. That’s a very light blue color. However, the actual color that they call aquamarine for this pendant is very purple and more like the color of an amethyst. Don’t go by the names they list with the samples of the different color stones – be sure to look at the color shown and pick the stone by color and not by name. The pendant itself is reasonably accurately shown, i.e., you get what you see, although like most jewelry, it’s not quite as dazzling in person as it appears in pictures. The pendant is about the size of a USA nickel and is therefore quite visible. The chain is nothing special. The product came nicely packaged. I do think this could make a nice gift but most appropriate for teens/young women.
