I personally haven't worn a necklace since high school. My son recently started wearing a boy's necklace and likes doing it. Then I saw this pair of Ying Yang necklaces and knew it was perfect. I got them for us and he has worn it every day since. He seems to really like the fact that he and I are wearing Ying Yang necklaces as a father/son pair. That alone is worth the five stars and the price of the necklaces.The actual quality is alright too. I do wish that the symbol spun inside an outer ring, but that is a very minor thing. The important part is that it is something I share with my son.

This is a nice-looking necklace. Even though there was no protection on the pendant itself to protect it from the chain scratching it, I didn't have any scratches on mine. It came in a soft jewelry bag. The length is good - not too long or too short. It is true to the photos.

The yin/yang is brushed silver and black enamel rather than white and black—except that the dot in the middle of the yin is white enamel, not silver, and is larger than the black dot in the middle of the yang. The loop that the symbol hangs from is slightly off-center, so the black dot is not directly over the white one. They slant slightly to the left. This is not an accurate conventional depiction of the Tao. I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing it.

I had several thoughts when I saw these come up in my Vine Feed. First that my wife would insist that we wear them as a matched pair, I really don't wear jewelry much kind of a hold over from my Mill working days. I do wear a wedding band and never take it off. As of this writing I have not shown these to the wife and am leaning more heavily toward The second thought. Which is to create a his and hers set of Mugs\Cups and inlay these pendants into the side using epoxy. The Quality of the Pendants is very nice, I really like how the 2 parts of the symbol seem to be suspended in air. The chain looks somewhat delicate until you touch it it is very well made and strong. The clasp is easy enough for someone with clumsy fingers to manipulate.

The Yin Yang necklace has a beautiful finish. The weight of the pendant and chain makes the necklace feel luxurious. It will be super easy to change the chain on the pendant. The large bail on the Yin Yang pendant will make it easy to use a wider chain. Highly recommend.
