What attracted me to this gold flower pin was it's simplicity, but also the curved petal design which gives it a sculptural look with dimension. The pin is somewhat heavy for its size and the clasp is not a safety clasp. The pin back does not open far and doing that requires bending the straight pin. I tested it on a scarf and it did lay nicely without drooping due to it's weight. I would not attempt to wear it with very light or sheer fabrics, but for a thicker sweater, jacket lapel, or a scarf, it adds interest and is neutral enough for any season.

This attractive pin is the size of a quarter and nicely detailed. Tasteful accessory for securing scarves or decorating coat lapels. I received a free sample, and this is my own opinion.
