I gave this to my husband for our anniversary. The 13th year is leather, so this is really precious. I love that it is engraved on leather and the saying is truly beautiful. I'd been looking for a leather tray like this to serve as a dice rolling tray. Figured I would take a flyer, and it turned out to be a nice little tray. The tray was wrapped in tissue, and was in a tulle fabric bag. So if you need a quick gift, you are covered.However, the theme of the tray is for a 13th wedding anniversary. Traditionally, that year is lace. Leather is the third year.And the phrase "13 years down, forever to go" sounds like a prison sentence.This may be for anniversary, but it kind of plays like a gag gift.

The quality of the product is beautiful & superb. I can't say if it's real leather or a faux leather, but either way it is really nice & very well put together. Most people look at the number 13 and think of bad luck, but my wife and I differ from most. We were married on the 13th of the month, I lived in apartment number 13 when we met, and so on. So to us it a lucky number. I really like the devicing 13 years into months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, & seconds. Now our 13th wedding anniversary isn't until July 2024 but I figured I was better off to buy it now and hide it until then, which has been easy so far. Overall I think this would be the perfect gift for either a wife or husband. To me it's an oddity as I have never seen anything celebrating a 13th wedding anniversary before or since and I think my wife will love it.

This high caliber tray is beautiful and the p/leather is too. I like the way 13 for the Lace Anniversary or the 13th Anniversary is broken into time units, e.g. minutes to equal 13 years.
