This solitaire necklace is absolutely gorgeous! I love it. While I'll always love gemstones that come from the earth, I am a bit nervous about their sourcing, and I want to be sure that any stones I own are ethically sourced. Lab-created stones give me a more ethical option that provides me so much peace of mind, and I've never had a bad experience with them. They are also typically more affordable, and although I received this particular necklace through the Vine program in exchange for my honest review, I do think that the pricing for this created sapphire necklace is phenomenal.The stone is a mesmerizing deep blue. It is cut beautifully, and has a lot of sparkle to it. It's absolutely beautiful. The chain is about what you'd expect to come standard with this stone- it's not cheap, but it's not the strongest chain you're going to find. I'll likely end up replacing mine.I'm really happy with the necklace overall. It's a gorgeous piece of jewelry that I am really looking forward to wearing over the years, and I've already received many compliments on it while wearing it. My daughters also love it, and because my jewelry will someday be theirs, that's important to me as well. I think this is a great way to own a beautiful gem at a fraction of the price you'd pay for a natural stone, and you can be sure that it's been sourced ethically as well!
