I know this is a technically a snowflake design but it reminds me of a sunburst and doesn't say "winter only" when you look at the design. My birthstone is emerald which is my favorite color, too. But I have very few pretty pieces of yellow jewelry although it is one of my other favorite colors. This topaz is a bright cheerful yellow--no brown tone at all--which is a happy color for me. The quality was better than I expected, too. I like the pendant. I am not sure how sturdy the chain will be over time but I have other options for that, the pendant was the important piece and I am quite satisfied with it. I wear this and it is lightweight but visible--no one has to get too close to try to see it, especially the color.

The YL Women's Snowflake pendant is a very nice ruby (synthetic) pendant with a 925 sterling silver and 18k white gold plated chain.The ruby stones are brilliant and geometrically accurate with a marquise cut. The rubies are surrounded in white cubic zirconia which give it a nice accent.The pendant size is just about right and the chain size and thickness is good.I like the brilliance of this pendant necklace and that is also has matching earrings. I use this with a ring I got years ago with a similar stone (and cut).Overall, this is nice quality and would make a great gift item.

This dainty dime-size pendant is sparkly and beautiful. I selected the green peridot one and it’s prefect.Comes in a blue branded gift box. My young daughter has been a fan of Frozen for so many years and this necklace combines the cold, wintery atmosphere of her favorite movie with her birth stone. The snowflake necklace made a great gift and she loves it. It is well made but definitely youthful. It comes ready to be gifted. It has a pretty silver chain. The pendant is about the size of a coin.

The sterling silver on the pendant and chain looks good; no scratches or tarnishes. The gemstones reflect a decent amount of light even when it's worn. The backing is solid so I was bit worried about that at first. The color of the amethyst is about right for a simulated stone. It comes with a box link chain and that fully adjustable from 18" to about 19.5" total length. It comes with a nice gift box for presentation.
