Update: The alexandrite is synthetic (lab made) and probably the best synthetic alexandrite I’ve seen personally.It’s gorgeous, and while unfortunately I’ve chosen to go with the traditional white stone for my engagement ring (I actually bought this exact same ring but with the diamond-April stone!) I will be keeping this brand in mind when I want more alexandrite jewelry in the future.I’m cautiously optimistic this is real alexandrite.You can see in the photos that while it does maintain a softer purplish hue, it does appear to change in different lighting conditions. My other ring seen in the photo definitely has more obvious variations, and I know that one is 100% authentic alexandrite (courtesy of Jostens)Pictures include outside in the afternoon, fluorescent lights and LED lights.I will continue testing other lighting conditions, and I may even bring this in to a jeweler.I will update with my findings!

The media could not be loaded.  This ring is.even.prettier in person,picture does not do it justice.I ordered a size 6,it fits.comfortably but a tad.bit loose,which is.fine.bc my fi gers swell sometimes. If I were you I wouldn't hesitate to buy this at all!
