When I got this, I wasn't really sure it was right for my jewelry needs, but I had such a horrible system going, I figured this was worth a shot. I'm very glad I got this (the grey two-layer)! It's soft and fuzzy on the outside, and the clear top makes it easy to 1) remember what you have and 2) view all your options at once. I use the ring side for both rings and earrings. The section next to it is a removable grid -- which sometimes gets in the way when I want to pick up the top layer and get to the bottom layer, but it's not so much of a nuisance that I'd remove a star. The bottom layer is all grid for more bracelets, necklaces, pins, etc. The squares are fantastically-sized, even for a watch I own or for bracelet-necklace sets. I don't know, I just really love it!

This is a great way to organize earrings and keep them protected. I live near the beach so my jewelry tends to oxidize quickly. This organizer allows me to organize my earrings, keep them visible and protect them from the salty air.

I purchased two of these and I am so happy I did. I can clearly see all my earrings without even opening the boxes. They are well made and pretty so they aren't trashing up my bedroom.I recently had to travel and these little guys were perfect for the trip. They took little space in my suitcase and I didn't have to figure out which earrings I was going to wear with which outfit; I just brought them all along!The one thing I don't like is that dangly earrings don't really work well in them. Studs do beautifully, dangly not so much. This is the only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5.

Unlike most who buy this, I did not purchase this for jewelry per se. my son and I go out and hunt with metal detectors and I purchased this to display some of the small valuable items we collect. This would include some jewelry of course. For this purpose, this item is great I only wish there was a bigger size with more compartments.The item itself is well made and very sturdy. The dividers can be removed to make bigger compartments if needed. The latch does its job and keeps it shut. I do believe that a good drop would cause it break pretty bad but so far I haven’t done that.It is lightweight and the fabric is thin and does seem to catch or snag items I place in it.I do recommend this item.

Works great. Easy to see all your earrings. Only issue is with hoops and some might not work. But otherwise my daughter loves it!
