This watch has an excellent mechanism at it's heart,17 jewels for reduced pivot friction to ensure smooth movement that aids in time accuracy, and a very nice styling for any man's wrist. If serviced regularly (every 5 to 7 years) I can see no reason it would not be usable for a lifetime. The crystal is mineral crystal which is scratch resistant but less likely to shatter with impact than the more scratch resistant sapphire crystals of more expensive watches. The movement in cases in a stainless steel case which give a nice weighty feel (not to light or not too heavy.) It also has the complication of an automatic wind to provide energy to the main spring without the need to manually wind but still allow for a manual wind from the crown if needed or preferred. The balance is capable of being adjusted for time regulation as well as beat error if required in the future but mine came keeping time within the specification you would expect of a 17 jeweled movement. The hands are without luminescence so if that is something you want you won't find it here. But for 30 dollars USD, it's a very good mechanical movement.I heard that these types of movements from China are plagued with quality control problems but this one is running well, keeps good time, and do so in a style I was looking for.If you want a nice mechanical watch with minimal complications without breaking the bank, I can recommend it without reservations. If you are looking for a name, or high $ watch check out Seiko, Rolex, or Heck get a Grand Seiko spring drive if you want to drop a few grand on a time piece. Anyway I just wanted to put a review of my new watch out there which I feel is based on a bit of horological knowledge and no snobbery about how the 3000.00 USD watches are better. I have no problem with pricey watches, but if you want a solid timepiece with little fussy and no muss, consider these movements before you look at pricier options.

Alright straight out the box the watch wont be turning on because its a sort of automatic system. But dont worry, all you got to do is wind it up (without pulling the turn dial). You will see a circle fill up with wire, until you feel like you cant anymore. Then you shake the crap out of it until the the tick starts moving back snd forth. Then you should make it work. The band is adjustable. The metal has not faded, the gold looks brushed and better than the pic. You will get compliments and it looks expensive, but dosent say gold on it. Good watch

Slightly bigger than I expected, not much and actually helps to showcase the face. Its a nice looking watch with a decent weight, the band was easy enough to adjust (using a small flat head screwdriver). Arrived in nice condition, no scratches or scuffs in a padded box inside of a padded envelope. The only downside was that it wouldnt stay ticking for more than 30 seconds at a time until (against manuals recommendation) cranked it clockwise a few turns and it has stayed going since and kept time since. Overall im happy with it.

This watch looks soo lux, beautiful, and eye catching. It's made to wear with your favourite suit. It feels so expensive and classy, and I find myself marveling and starring at its micro mechanical Heart Ticking in action. It makes me happy wearing it. I've always wanted one of these watches, and if EVER at all I've seen a retailer have them in the past decade, they tend to be bland or ugly and hideously overpriced.

My husband ordered this watch because he thought it looked cool. It is a pretty good looking watch, especially for the price, but it only lasted about a week before it just completely stopped working. I knew it wouldn't last for years because it was cheap, but I still expected more than a week. I am annoyed because I can't even return it because I threw away the packaging. I definitely do not recommend this product.

Was sent in a oversized envelope, arrived with foam packing out of its box. The box itself was in such bad shape, i was seriously concerned about what condition id find the watch in.The watch is beautiful, just as shown in photos.Directions are horrible, had to guess and hope i didnt break the band when i was trying to adjust it to my wrist. So, overall for just over 20 dollars... cool watch. Buy again from this seller, no.

Flawless watch for the price. The band is very easy to use and adjust. No batteries necessary. The look is spectacular and winding up the watch is effortless. For people that only wear a watch to work and not 24 hours a day I recommend only winding it 12 times for 12 hours. It’s easy to remember. The second hand of the watch glides instead of that annoying tick-tick-tick sound I’ve grown to hate. 5/5. Great design and very user friendly. The back of the watch is probably my favorite part.

Very good watch for the money. It is a winding watch. It does wind while wearing it. Not a problem. I like others noticed the issue mentioned with the Roman numerals. Well after further research I now understand that they are correct. Watches use the 4 and 9 differently. IIII is not incorrect. Clocks and watches rely on a mix of additive notation and subtractive notation according to a few articles I recently read. I also looked up a few high end watches that use Roman numerals and they are shown the same way. Go figure. I was ticked off at first....lol
