This box is not solid wood. It is MDF with laminate. The window is not glass, it’s plastic stapled on the inside of the lid. The box was worn on the edges due to friction during shipping. If I had seen it in person, I would not have made this purchase.

I'll start with the con which all buyers should take note of. The cushions do not fit snuggly inside the watch box. They wobble left and right and the box is designed such that it's possible for adjacent watches to hit each other. My Oris 65 got scratched by another watch (now I keep my metal watches apart from each other). Two solutions for this could have been better fitted cushions or higher walls that separate the watches from each other so risk of hitting each other is eliminated.Aside from the design flaw, I did enjoy this watchbox. The construction is solid and it feels sturdy. The "glass" cover feels like pretty cheap plastic but for the price, it's excellent. Doesn't look cheap at all. The box also closes nicely and take some force to open. I was worried it had no locking mechanism but it snaps shut similar to a laptop lid.

Arrived with broken hinges and a broken box. The window is disgustingly dirty. Also, there was a random piece of metal loosly sitting inside the box. I could not be more unhappy with my purchase. I'm furious!
