​Beautifully Crafted, Amazing Detail, Heirloom Quality

Design: Each design takes over 50 hours to create and get ready for production using our proprietary processes that have taken over 30 years to develop. This allows us to create a unique, original work of art, where no two are the same and to do it at a reasonable cost. These are handmade in the USA.

Wood Selection: A great deal of effort goes into selecting what woods will work for each piece of the design (grain pattern, color, orientation, variations of color and grain pattern, etc). It is not unusual for some designs to have over 20 variations of woods tested together and in combination before settling on the final wood set for a design. A label describing each wood shown comes with each design.

I ordered this early for my husband, for Christmas. It is quite beautiful! The touch and feel of the wood is silky and amazing. Beautiful felt on bottom and also inside box. I had chosen the Love Knot design -- Beautiful Love Knot!!!I can't make up my mind whether I sort of prefer the stronger contrast of the wood colors in the photo on Amazon, but I know that each item is unique, and this is still very, very beautiful. A work of art. I may actually like it more than the photo -- but it doesn't matter -- I think it is "supposed to be". Sometimes the universe decides. ;-)I am so delighted this artist (his name is Randy West) decided to sell on Amazon. I may not have discovered him otherwise. So I feel very lucky. Hopefully more people will discover him and his beautiful art.Actually, I forget how I came across this item, but it was quite by accident while I was shopping (early-ish) for Christmas presents for my husband. This just seemed perfect in so many ways. We will have to wait until Christmas to see what he thinks, he-heh. I found this after a long search for a small box to use as a container for some cash that I planned to give my grandson for a wedding gift. The Celtic Knot....or love knot....was the perfect design for the occasion so I ordered this box. When it arrived I was thrilled at the craftsmanship and true artistry displayed in it.... it was several different types of wood that were inlaid to create the design and a nicely printed card explained what types of wood were used and also had a definition of the Celtic Knot. I was completely satisfied with this astonishingly beautiful little box....it was PERFECT!!! Later I received a thank you card from the artist who created it....very, very unusual in today's world and very appreciated. I am trying to find reasons to purchase another one....I will purchase again for sure. The wedding is this weekend and I can't wait for the bride and groom to see this beautiful little jewel!

Pros: Nice box according to measurements. I like the box was handmade. It can keep few bangles and rings.The finish Color are not same as online photos, this is more lighter but still acceptable as you can see the wood grain matching each other.Cons:. Doesn’t give a wow factor when I open the package as the cover looks like laminate vinyl.I think I’m the unlucky ones, the inside glue didn’t stick to the wood so ... my photos would do the talking.If Mr Randy West could do some more Quality checks, that would be great.

I had a variety of stuff that I shoved into an old coffee mug (TV remote, nail file, cat laser, eyeglass cleaning cloth, etc) on my end table. I decided I needed an upgrade, so went looking for a box that would hide my stuff and not look so crummy. I looked at a variety of boxes online that would be small enough to not take over the end table but big enough to hold my things and found this. I gotta tell you, it really classes the place up! While the price was higher than some of the others, the quality is amazing and the craftsmanship is beautiful! I can highly recommend. I think it would make a lovely gift as well.
