The weight and feel of this necklace is really nice for the price it was listed at. I did have some trouble with the pendant slumping down when I wear it but fixed that issue with some lash glue. So far I haven’t noticed any tarnishing even with taking it swimming or showering so I was glad to not wake up to a different necklace.

The necklace is a good weight and looks nice on me — I usually get at least 1-2 compliments when I wear it. I’m pretty sure some admirers think it costs a lot more than it does and I don’t say differently.The gold finish is not yellowy like some “gold” fashion jewelry. I liked the design but unfortunately, after wearing it for a few hours it made my neck itch. I also wish it could be shorter...even on the tightest notch it hangs lower than I'd like. Pretty necklace...just didn't work for me.

I saw this necklace on the vendor's Amazon site and just fell in love. The big bold chain, with the subtle mother-of-pearl accent looked lovely.And what I got was exactly that. It arrived inside a bag, in a small box - and the 18K gold plating is just stunning. It looks and feels high quality (and expensive). The mother-of-pearl shell (which didn't photograph at all well for me) is set in 18K gold, and has a rimmed setting on the back to help it stay face up when worn.Me, I'm not a fan of chokers, so for the time being, I wear it as a bracelet (the 16" plus 2" extension wraps around my wrist comfortably three times ). I may ask a jeweler to shorten the length, so I have two individual bracelets, but in the meantime, I can just wrap it.I couldn't be happier with this - the price is great, the gold is stunning, and mother-of-pearl is my favorite accent with gold. Lovely.

I want to love this so much! Packaging was wonderful. Necklace is beautiful. The issue with this necklace is that the mother of pearl center flips backwards with any turn of your head and doesn't fix itself back I believe due to the weight of it. Therefore, 99% of the time you can only see the back of the mother of charm, which isn't appealing at all. If the manufacturer could fix this, this would be a winner.
