One of the little leather straps on the band fell off within a week, but the wife said it was fine. It's been a month and she reports that the watch frequently stops or loses time in the night. She'll wake up and see the watch is way behind and reset it. This is now a nightly occurrence.

I am an avid watch collector so when I had the opportunity to order this watch I couldn't pass it up. This is a lovely rose gold color watch that came in a wooden giftbox, and even the glittery face is rose gold color. It has a very elegant look about it. The face is a perfect size being 2.7 cm including the rim (1.125 inches). It has a more elaborate locking mechanism on the bottom and it takes folding over segments of each side of the mechanism then pushing until they snap. It's easy to figure out.As far as size, this watch was way too big for my wrist but I have taken links out of many watches so needed to do that with this watch as well. One thing I need to mention is that the inside links do not have the directional arrows on them to make it easier to know which direction to remove the links. At first I thought maybe they couldn't be removed and that's why there weren't any arrows, but actually with the few watch tools I have I had no problem removing the links. I did have to look at another watch of mine with a similar band (one with arrows inside) to ensure I took removed them in the right direction. The links were easy to remove, and ultimately I removed 4 links - 2 from each side to fit my 6-inch wrist, and it does fit perfect now. Voila!This watch keeps good time and it is also easy to set the time. I opened the back and was happy to find that this watch takes a standard SR626SW watch battery which are very easy to find. You can even purchase them in bulk here on Amazon and they are extremely affordable. Snapping the back cover back into place is easy, I was able to do it without the use of any tools.Overall this is a stunning watch that works great and has a secure locking mechanism. I do wish the insides of some of the links had the directional arrows stamped on them as other watches with this type of band do. Other than that, the watch is perfect and the beautiful wooden box it comes in is quite remarkable also.
