I ordered these for a pirate costume. I don't have pierced ears and I don't even wear clip on earrings all that much. These are very lightweight and comfy. The only problem I had was one of the clasps was a little bent and I couldn't get the clasp to close once the earring was on my ear, but my husband was able to quickly fix it and now it works fine.

I'm really bummed bc this has to be my favorite pair of clip ons I have ever owned. They are lightweight and absolutely beautiful. Plus they look expensive compared to what I payed. The problem is one of them hurts my ear so much. They are made with metal and that part near the lobe has poked the crap out of my ear and hurts. I even tried sanding it down bc I love them so much but I just can't wear them now. Thinking about getting another pair bc I love the design so much. Maybe I will get lucky and get a pair that won't hurt my ears.
