This is an incredibly beautiful time piece, not just a watch. However, if Seiko would reduce the size to genuinely fit a woman’s wrist, it would be a keeper for sure. As such, I looked like I was wearing my daddy’s watch.

I just got my watch. It is nice but it is huge. This a is a woman's watch? It is easy to set time and date. I'll keep it and see how it goes.Update, I like the watch, it keeps good time doesn't seem to be slow or fast.

It's a little on the heavier side and the ridges on the strap hit my wrist bone. I do have a smaller wrist and the length of the strap is a little long. With that said, it is a heavier but beautiful watch and I love it. I think I'm going to have to change the strap, however it may resolve itself...we'll see.

It's a nice watch and keeps time, but the week day switches languages from English to something that I have no idea what it is, Arabic maybe? I don't know, but it's really very disappointing. It doesn't say anywhere on the description that it has two languages. When it's set in the other language, it moves correctly from one day to the next day of the same language without stopping on English first; but, when it is set in English it goes through the other language first before switching back-- It stops/goes through the other language first as it changes. So, for several hours, you can't read it... That is, unless you know Arabic or whatever it is. I might return this watch.

Update August '17: 3 years after wearing it only occasionally, it runs 12 minutes fast every 24 hours. I turned it in and repair would be $85.My husband has had his Seiko for 20 plus years. It went through many deployments, yard work, hunting trips and other rough things a man does.We were amazed with the quality so I purchased this watch for me in June 2014. I immediately was pleased by the look when it arrived. My hands a a little bigger than the typical feminine hands and so the size was perfect for me. It is by far not as big as a full size man watch. My husband would actually look kind of silly wearing a watch like this one. Also it seems the trend is going toward females wearing oversized (man) watches. I've seen woman wearing much bigger than this Seiko watch.I use mine for walking dogs or in general with sporty outfits. No garden work or weight lifting etc.A few days after getting it I noticed what seems like grease splatter spots all along the plastic band. All attempts of removing them failed. The arabic days annoyed me a little cause I could not figure out how to change this setting without instructions. Another annoying thing is the end of the month resetting over and over. The date is never accurate. While my husbands Seiko's dial is cratered, it has literally no scratches, neither lost black color along the dial. Even the glass has no significant scratches. Now I could say.... I get what I pay for, or assume the quality has just been lowered. However mine ( this watch) has a raised dial ( sort of like a mountain). This itself make is more vulnerable or exposed. It has some good scratches in the glass as well as the black on the dial is scratched off in areas where one would simply rest a hand on the table lets say when eating or writing. All in all this watch is still doing it's job for what I need it for. It's not a dress watch to begin with and for the money paid is a decent watch. Just don't expect it to hold up to the good old quality standard!I have also attached a picture with 5 of our watches to give a better idea of size and weight.1st is a Breitling man's watch (126gr), 2nd one is this Seiko watch, which some consider too large, a mans watch or too heavy ( 86gr), The 3rd on a Burberry oversized Lady's watch ( 42mm). 4th one a small lady's Breitling and the 5th one a Michael Kors a whopping 140gr.
