Pixie Dust is green-reflecting iridescent glitter in a pink-toned clear translucent silicone.I took a shot in the dark on this because of the glitter. Glitter / sparkle is hard to capture in a defined photograph, and glitter doesn’t really shine through to be that sparkly in silicone to begin with. The hue of the base and the iridescence of the glitter, this stock image just doesn’t do it justice, and I was totally expecting that.I was hoping for something more white / neutral pearl -like in color, but this as a definite rosy hue. I was also hoping for more of a white reflective glitter, as I’m not a fan of the sparkle pulling so much green. Personal preferences.That said, this comes out to a very close skin tone match for me; which is just sort of an odd look. I’m super pasty-pale, a MAC N3 / NW15, never more dark than NW20. I always tend to be a more neutral toned than pink undertones, but this band just pulls that right out.This may be a look some are going for. It’ll definitely contrast more for the majority of people, but this probably isn’t the goal color for most band selection.The band itself it true to size, I’m a 6.75 for a normal width ring, so sizing up for the width makes this perfect. The thickness is a little more than I prefer, but I wanted something a little more sturdy and stuff than some of the cheaper value selections around. I wash my hands a lot working in a NICU, so I would expect this to hold up well, as silicone generally does. I’ve found that the “breathable” styles don’t really vent for moisture anyway, and those tend to weaken and break easier as well. Although thicker and sturdy, it still feels like my hand is naked, so super comfortable. I mean, my hand looks naked too.I’m mostly reviewing to upload my photos to help out others. Again, glitter is hard to capture, so there are many angles in hazy daylight and some with flash. Some are blurred a bit to show the actual green shine that is reflected. And of course for one to see just how well this color matches. Hope it helps.!

The media could not be loaded. Left pictures of my opal ring for comparison, because its sparkle composition reminds me of it. You can also see it is not white, it’s more pink, which I’m very happy about. It’s also slightly translucent. They do run slightly small. I wear size 6.5 and ordered a 6 and it fit perfectly. Love the look of it, no more hurting my fingers at the gym.

This is really cute at first, but it very quickly turned from a pretty, subtle pink to a yellow. I love Qalo rings, but will not be buying this option again. I wore this doing normal, day to day activities - not a bunch of sweaty or outdoor activities. I took it off for about a month, had it in my jewelry box, opened it up and the thing has definitely turned yellow. So… beware.
