I have a tiny wrist, and was a bit worried about buying this watch. But I was delightfully surprised!What makes this a uniquely beautiful watch for me is the large gold face and beige leather band. If you have a tiny wrist like mine and want a timepiece more than a fashion accessory (no skinny bracelets with tiny faces for me), this watch with its large face combined with beige and gold, is a perfect compromise between a functional watch, and a dressier look! Don't be daunted with the "bulk" - the clean lines give this watch an ultra feminine touch. It's just so lovely to wear and flattering on all skin tones. I've worn it with any attire from a business suit to a pair of jeans.It's simple without being boring, a watch that exudes sophistication and timeless simplicity.

I had another Skagen watch before and it had a more flat face with a pearlescent background. It was nice as it it wouldn’t get caught, when in working with tools etc. This one I’m reviewing is a bulkier watch, even though it’s still pretty minimalist. It is of course beautiful like all Skagen watches. The color is a trendy rose gold which I love for the summer. The face is large and easy to read. It had the third arm which is very important to me, because I need to see that the watch is going. The numbers are small, but easy to read. I need numbers, I can’t deal with the numberless watches. All in all a great purchase and I’m excited to wear this out.

Opened the bag the box inside had a yellow post it note and in black sharpie it reads Batterie DEAD?!????Well, post it was correct- the watch inside the box does not work. I literally had to laugh out loud in sheer disbelief… hmmm, I bought a “BRAND NEW” watch huh!!! Yay would like it to work. Boo and now have PTSD - should I even try again hoping Skagen sends me a working watch…. Probably NOT!!! Answer is NO!!!

I’ve had Skagen watches for almost 20 years. This is a little big for my wrist but I love it. I’m not interested in a smart watch - I love a nice analog watch. I’ve only had the silver color but love this rose gold - it makes it look a little more elevated. I only wish it would’ve arrived with the pin out to save some battery power.

This arrived with a larger face than I anticipated, but is quite beautiful. So I am happy with the watches appearance.My wrist is just a bit over 7” and this fits with a wee bit of play. Unfortunately, if the band was any shorter I would not be able to wear it. So be sure to measure your wrist before ordering.I was about to send this back becauseMy issues is that something is very very wrong with the closure. It appears to (possibly ?) be installed in reverse position. I tried pulling off the catch/closure mechanism in order to turn it around to see if that worked, but the catch is stuck. So I can’t fix it plus, if my wrist was thinner, I could not possibly adjust it to fit. And, yes, I do know how to work the closure mechanism to adjust to the width of my wrist on this style of watch. It just refuses to budge.There are some scratches on the flat portion of the catch and my guess is that someone tried to adjust the width, had trouble with it, removed the closure mechanism and then just shoved it back on, put it back in the box, returned it in frustration, and then it was shipped to me.You can see from the side view that the catch sits at an awkward angle, very high off the wrist. While you can “close it” in this position, it falls back open very easily because it has not snapped together tightly. So far I have caught it when it drops, but I cannot be doing this all day, plus it is an easy way to lose a watch.I am trying to reach the manufacturer, so check for updates on this message.
