While these SWAROVSKI Women's Magic Pierced Earrings were supposedly inspired by snowflakes and they do indeed resemble them, you can successfully wear these year around without it looking very obviously "snowflake" in particular.I love everything about these earrings. Swarovski has been very hit or miss for me in terms of the quality and design of some of their jewelry, and I've been very disappointed in some of their pieces - but this one is most definitely a big hit for me.These are a beautiful size that are larger than normal stud earrings, yet not so overly large as to overwhelm your ears. They sparkle and shine and really catch the light well, commanding your attention. The shape and design is very unique and just lovely. At the same time, they are chic and fun enough to wear in a versatile manner - you can successfully wear these with more casual wear without looking too out of place (and they definitely add a brilliance to just about any outfit), yet they seamlessly work well when you are dressed formally, too.Everything about them is pretty much perfect, IMO - they really can work "magic" on your ears and with your overall look. They're sure to make a loved one feel very pretty and special, if you are giving as a gift, and are sure to impress. They get two thumbs up from me!

These were a bit of a disappointment - I expected much more sparkle out of these, especially since they are snowflakes, but the crystals are so small these mostly just look silver. They are still cute but not sure they are worth the price since you can get real sterling silver earnings that have more bling to them.

Review of: **SWAROVSKI Women's Magic Pierced Earrings, White, Rhodium plated**I got these for my wife and this review is based on her feedback:Very nicely crafted, with strong posts and a solid backing. The backing is actually better than some diamond earrings that cost 10x what these cost.The design is very pretty and the cut or the crystal makes them really catch the light. Note that they are quite large for a post-type of earring. The picture in the product listing is very accurate, so while they definitely look much higher quality than typical costume jewelry, no one is likely to mistake them for actual diamond earrings. Unless you are being driven around in a Bentley by your chauffeur.These would make an excellent gift and come in a very nice Swarovski jewelry box. If you like the design and the size you see in the pix, you will be very happy with this purchase. And they are very reasonably priced for what you get at ~$85.
