Casio Women's LW200-1AV Illuminator Digital Watch with Black Band

This is a terrific watch for travel and general use. I need dual time for travel for medication tracking and simplifying time zone changes. I am able to set the alarm easily, love the backlight and can shut the alarm off instantly by touching the large button (great for theaters). It fits a small wrist and I can easily trim the band. It also has a stopwatch that is easily accessible plus the choice of using 12 hr. or 24 hr. time. You can't ask for much more in an inexpensive, highly functional, attractive watch. If something should happen to it or I lose it I shall just order another one. I have the pink/white watch as well though the white resin band gets dirty. They need to make a red watch!

This watch is not a smart watch. It's not fancy at all. It is however the best non-fancy, incredibly functional watch out there. The date, day and time are all on the front screen. The alarm is kinda hard to set but never fails. You can even set a swe econd time zone if you're tech saavy or can read. I love these watches and wear them until the bands wear out.

I have purchased the same watch several times. It looks nice & works well. The band does not hold up as well as the watch itself, though, & that is why I have had to buy them again. The watch face can scratch fairly easily as well. It is easy to use, has lots of features, & looks professional for a very reasonable cost.

The watches I had before got dead batteries after two or three years. I decided to get a watch whose battery could last longer than three years. I listened to my friends' suggestion to get a Casio ten year battery watch. I found it in amazon.com with nice price without shipping charge. This watch is small and does not look oversized on my tiny wrist. And it is convenient to know the date as well as time. I like its water resistant function with which I can handle the time well when swimming. I also like its illuminator function when I was watching movies in cinimas. The dual time function is also useful to me. I can call my sister in Vancouver at her time ( We have three hours difference). All in All, it is a good watch. The only thing I do not like is the fact that its case surface is easy to get scratched. I have got some scratches thinner than hairs in two weeks. Of couse, they are able to be seen only when you look carefully by adjusting the angles to the light. But for less than $18, you can not want too much.

The band is very comfortable and durable. It has a lot of "holes" for just the perfect fit. I've had some watches that were too big for my small wrists. I don't like them to move around, so this is perfect. I like the alarm - it goes off as set and shuts off after 20 or 30 seconds. A good feature when I'm not wearing it and able to shut it off. I am very active and needed something durable. I like the light. It is not too bright but does light up the time very well. The cost was so affordable, but quality so great.

Got this to replace an inexpensive Timex digital watch. This is ... OK. Given the cost/etc., I wasn't expecting much, and it delivered that for sure. It keeps time, isn't too difficult to set (similar to other inexpensive digital watches, really). I have a large-ish wrist, and it just fits (barely), but it's comfortable, so no complaints there. I got it specifically for the larger time display -- after cataract surgery, I need reading glasses to be able to read printing/etc., and at night without my glasses, it was impossible to read the Indiglo-illuminated Timex numbers. This is a lot better, as long as the light stays on long enough. And therein lies the problem. The light on the dial stays lit for 1 second when the bottom button is pushed, but you can change it to illuminate for 3 seconds (and it doesn't matter how long you hold down the button -- just tapping it or holding it down, you get 1 or 3 seconds depending on teh setting.) OK, GREAT! That's just what I need. Except that the button you use to change the illumination period is the same button you use to switch from "regular" to "military" time or reverse (you know, "13:00" instead of "1:00pm) -- the button on the lower right side of the dial. To change the light setting you press and hold that button for 2 seconds, and a little "marker" shows up to tell you you've succeeded (3"). Unfortunately, it also switches the time setting. No problem, just press the button once quickly, and you're back to your preferred time setting. Unfortunately, this then causes the light duration setting to switch back to 1 second -- but not right then. It waits until the next time the time shifts from 12:00 to 1:00 (or 13:00) -- and it shuts off automatically. I've tested this 3 times now with the watch off my wrist, so I know it's not caused by accidentally pressing the button that activates the change. This makes it difficult if you change the light setting before hitting the sack before midnight -- and then try to look at the time, say, at 3:30am after the light setting has changed back. This may seem like a minor thing, but it was one of the major reasons I purchased THIS watch -- lighted dial, big numbers. I don't use the other features (stop watch, etc.) -- I just need a watch I can wear *and*read* in the dark. If this isn't a concern for you, this might just be the perfect "everyday" inexpensive watch. The search continues -- This one works fine for day use, but I'll likely have to spend a little more to get excactly what I need.

Very lightweight! Very reliable too. Nite light works well. Why wear a huge heavy clunk-watch for endurance sportsunless you need a GPS ?What fails first is the wrist band and they are not easy to replace. The watch will run for 10 years, the band will fail after 2 years. This is the best value in a sports watch in the world.

My favorite watch. This is my third time buying this watch. I am never disappointed! Each time it last more than 4 years. I replaced the band on one and kept wearing. I am very hard on watches and this little guy holds up so well. It made it through my tour in the Navy and well beyond.
