This is a handsome watch that looks classy, but has several design cues that help it stand out and appear youthful. It has a lovely dark navy blue color that extends from the silicone watch band to the watch dial itself. The watch casing is interesting because the bezel portion (that surrounds the dial) has a shiny metallic finish (including the crown, buttons, and lugs) but the sides of the case has a brushed metallic finish, so that the shiny elements stand out. I love how the “12” on the dial is prominently displayed alongside the easy-to-read hour markings. Its use of color is splendid as the predominately blue coloration is offset with white/silver markings and occasional use of bright red (bottom half of the rim of the dial). These design elements extend to the rings around the sub-dials (two are outlined in red, while the bottom is outlined in silver). Everything looks nice, with excellent fit and finish, and everything feels quite well-made.Functionally, the watch is comfortable to wear (thanks to the soft and semi-flexible silicone strap) and the watch face is easy to read. The sub-dials, in my opinion, have a more limited functionality. While the day of the week may be helpful, if you forgot which day it is, the date dial is very hard to interpret as the tick marks are so small (pulling out your cell phone is much faster). The 24-hour dial is only helpful in the sense that you can easily tell if it is am or pm based on the side the arrow is pointing. Some people might like the extra dials, but others might just feel that these particular sub-dials take up space and do not offer meaningful information. Personally, I would take these three dials over a date window on this particular watch.One thing to keep in mind is that the watch band lies flush with the lugs. Therefore, if the watch band ever rips or breaks, you will need to find an exact replacement as standard watch bands will not fit perfectly.In general, this is a beautiful watch that is attractive in both looks and price. This is marketed as a women’s watch, but in all honesty, this can also look quite nice as a men’s watch. I would recommend this Tommy Hilfiger Stainless Steel Quartz Watch.
