- MATERIAL - Shields of Strength uses the highest grade stainless steel containing zero nickel, commonly referred to as “Surgical Grade” . For high quality gold plating, Shields of Strength uses extra heavy gold plating with a minimum of 40 mils of real gold plated onto the highest grade stainless steel containing zero nickel which does not irritate skin and never tarnishes.

Sometimes I'll close my eyes and think back to that day on the lake where I first heard God speak and I'm amazed. Amazed at how He used a fearful young man, a faithful woman and His powerful Word to build something I could never have imagined. I'm truly humbled.

Our story began when Scripture gave our Founder, Kenny, the courage to face his fears. He later engraved Scripture on dog tags in order to carry God's Word close to him. The dog tags provided a reason for Kenny to share his testimony and pass on the gift of God's Word. It wasn’t long before Kenny realized that other people needed Scripture as much as he did, and that’s when he decided to create Shields of Strength.
