I just got this watch last week. It caught my eye because my Swiss Army watch has a broken band. Anyhoo - I wanted to get a watch that was beautiful but I could wear horseback riding to keep an eye on the time while riding. This watch appears to fit the bill perfectly so far. It is very sturdy but very beautiful. I cannot stop looking at it when I wear it! I was worried that it would be hard to see the face of the clock but that is NOT a problem. It's easy to see at a glance. I love it.

If your looking for a royal blue face, then look no further. In some lights I have some purple notes from the mother of pearl. The contrast is excellent even in low light, so I find the face easier to read than traditional white backgrounds. I got the band sized by a Jeweler. The face sits very flat along my wrist and is remarkably thin and comfortable. I love Bulova watches as they keep excellent time until the battery dies.

I had to replace battery 3 weeks after receiving it. It worked for aproximately 2 months and then begin losing time. Thinking the battery was bad, I replaced the battery again. It worked for awhile, but began losing time again. Beautiful watch but has faulty parts. Too late to return. Very unhappy with purchase.

I love this watch - it is everything I was looking for in a every-day watch. The crystal sapphire face keeps it from scratching and the stainless band is rugged. The beautiful blue color is outstanding and a nice change from white or black. The two-toned band makes it great to go with my gold jewelry but not too fancy. Definitely recommend.
