This is the 2nd time I’ve purchased this watch, I had to replace the one I had which was 10 years old. Looks amazing and is super durable. The only reason my old one failed was because the gaskets inside were probably dry-rotted due to age and condensation got inside. (Sad face). Seller sent item new in box. Great transaction.

I've worn this while at races in 100+℉ at the Salt Flats...it has survived getting splashed with various fuels (which I would quickly neutralise and rinse with water), showers, sweat and the aforementioned heat and never felt uncomfortable or sticky. The shiny finish was surprisingly not affected. The only things I do not like are the low visibility of the digital numbers in bright/sunny light, as well as the short amount of time the light remains on while not making anything on the watch face particularly more visible as noted by other reviewers. I'm used to far more analogue watches so for me those were unecessary added bonuses. It's nice to be able to set a second time zone on the digital watch while keeping my home base analogue part the same so I may occasionally check the actual time while driving between time zones in two separate states and always be on time.... Relying on a smartphone is a big no when time zone may fluctuate within the same town straddling a border... The watch came with enough instructions to figure out the rest on my own and a nice metal case. I find this watch beautiful enough to wear almost all the time and the brass has not tarnished so far in spite of the harsh environment.

If you're searching for a Baby-G watch for yourself or as a gift then you already know the basics about this Casio line. So I'll skip those details unless anyone is interested. Instead I'll go straight to the point. I purchased this watch as a gift for someone that wanted something fashionable while also not so delicate that it couldn't take a few bumps. They need a watch such as this for work being in an athlete support role. The industry targeted, consumer level Iron Man branded watches and the like probably would have worked better, but it's not always something that could easily pull double duty while off hours as well.Pros: - The strap has a glossy finish that matches the face. Which I think is preferred compared to the silicone straps but I'm not sure how heat and the elements will affect it over time. - The watch is light and easy to use and setup. The self winding feature when setting the time is a welcomed convenience vs. having to hold down a button on some older G-Shocks watches. - The controls/buttons are easy to use and press. - The cost isn't too bad if you can get it on sale. And even when it isn't on sale the price on Amazon is decent. - Already have received many compliments. - All the black (may) make your wrist look slimmer =)Cons: - The display is not back lit like other G-Shock watches so it's hard to read in the dark or in a dimly lit environment. The light that is provided is a single LED at the 6 o'clock location. (Points for at least having the light be amber to match the gold accents. The light reflections are semi-functional, but very fashionable.) - The hour and minute hands can be hard to see sometimes because they also have a gold finish with the exception of the ends of the hands that are in white. So when the hands move over the gold sections then they blend in really well. - As far as I can tell the face pieces do not glow in the dark. (Disclaimer: I could be wrong about this as I have not thoroughly tested it out.)

Beautiful in person one thing I love most about this watch is how the face drops in when you turn the amber light on it looks so beautiful with all the gold, I got this because of the gold mostly and the shiny black, I got it for my boyfriend but I have a gold one also which has a bit of a rose gold shade and glow hands just wish they could have painted the tips of the hands I think all watches should just come with that glow feature.
