Peridot is my birthstone which always felt kind of Ho-hum. Then I learned more about them and some may even come from meteorites! They’re typically set in gold which can make the cost prohibitive. I’ve only recently discovered that they are very striking when set into sterling silver. This pendant is a gorgeous cushion or rectangular cut and the setting plus chain findings are smooth and feel very nice. The on,y regret I have is one I have with most jewelry as I get older: The clasps are very tiny and so are the jump rings. If either one were bigger, (I suspect the jump ring) we’d really have something that doesn’t require someone else’s help. Although… that doesn’t suck either ;-) [wink]. It’s a beautiful piece to add to your jewelry collection.
