First off, this is what it claims to be. The chain and pendant are both marked 925, and neither is magnetically reactive. (The clasp is, and that's fine because the inner springs should NOT be made of sterling.) The center stone passes a thermo test with flying colors. The accessory stones are just too small to test, but with everything else passing muster, I have no reason to doubt them.The piece is solid and well-constructed. The cut on the center moissanite is well done, and the smaller stones fire up nicely as well.The presentation is where these folks are winning. There are a lot (LOT) of sellers who just do all kinds of ridiculous things in terms of the boxing on their jewelry - lights (literal lights in the hinge box), glittery cards, free gifts (never particularly good quality), all kinds of ostentatious boxes inside boxes inside boxes - you name it, I've seen it. This is simple and impressive without hitting the ridiculous mark. The necklace comes in a button-open hinge box inside a magnetic wrap box, along with a folder of paperwork. Periodt. Another reviewer has posted a photo. It's good packaging, but not the kind that's obviously designed to wow you with the box so you don't look too closely at the thing inside the box. (And all of this wildness costs money, by the way - money that could be put into the PIECE, not the packaging, which is where I'd prefer that it go.) I wouldn't mind if this just came in the hinge box in a plain cardboard box (for wrapping and protection inside the shipping box), but I don't think the wrap box is going too far.It's pretty rare for me to think a seller has nailed the balance between solid product, impressive but not ridiculous packaging, and accurate description (eg they don't call moissanite "lab diamond" or similar nonsense), but I think we've found it here. We're going to land at least at 4.5 stars, and anything above that doesn't matter because it all rounds to 5.
