I had to add a chain extender on my necklace because it's very short. Something I usually have to do with necklaces I purchase. I also make my own as a hobby. I don't think I could ever create something like this with my materials though.I've recently discovered that I adore peacocks. I noticed that I'm very drawn to the beauty of the animals. Why I wasn't in tune with this fact before is beyond me. Same thing with this necklace and earring set. I saw it and instantly fell in love. I've only had the opportunity to wear the set once so far to a fancy work function with a friend but, I got so many compliments which just tickled me and boosted my confidence level.The round multicolored faceted stones are simply stunning. The way the facets catch the light is out of this world. I hope I'm able to hold onto these beautiful pieces of jewelry for a long time to come.

This necklace and earring set is beautiful! It's a modern-day take on the phoenix--the bird that gloriously rises from the ashes in a blaze of fire.According to the ancient Egyptian tale, the phoenix would decide when it was ready to be "reborn" and would get the attention of the sun god, who would create a spark that consumed the bird and its nest. Soon after, the bird would begin life anew.The ancient Chinese name for the phoenix is fenghuang. It is immortal in Chinese mythology, too. It is considered the "king of birds" and represents virtue, courtesy, benevolence, love, and faith (which also makes it appropriate as a wedding gift or "renewal" gift).On the Amazon.com website, this jewelry set is promoted as a wedding gift (hence the "new life"), but it would also be a beautiful gift for someone who has overcome a lot or who is in the process of overcoming a lot.The earrings and necklace pendant are all the same size, a little more than 1/2" round. The base for the pendant and earrings is a round, open, multi-colored "stone" *I guess it must be plastic, really. it is made of purples and blues, and it "glows" gently in the light. You can see the entire "stone" from the side, but you can only see half of it from the front, because it is overlaid with the phoenix. The elegant, stylized bird curves around the circle. You can see its head and silhouette that ends with the tail at the top of the circle. The head is silver, with a dainty beak and black eyes. The body and tail are made of tiny rows of rhinestones that go all the way along the length.The earrings are set on standard French hooks. I recommend you use some sort of earring back to reinforce them (I'm good at losing French hook earrings that fall out). You can even use a bit of pencil eraser to secure it, in a pinch.The necklace chain is dainty, and it's a bit short for a plus-sized lady like me, so if you don't have one, you might want a necklace extender.This set comes wrapped well to protect the jewelry in a gift box. The box is black and made of sturdy paper board. A synthetic "velvet" is on the inside, and the top has a satin-ish top. It reads "Vesyman Jewelry." The humdrum box is not really suitable as a gift wrap--you will want to wrap this or at least put it in a cute gift bag.This is a meaningful, lovely gift for someone--maybe for you!

This set is beautiful and exactly as pictured. Each piece comes securely wrapped in plastic to prevent scratching. It's actually a rather elegant set, and I can't wait until I figure out what to wear it with!

I got the one with the roses, and may pick up the phoenix one.The chain was tossed almost immediately. I just didn't like it. The pendant is beautiful and when the light catches it, it's really nice.While I love the earrings, the hook was wide at the area they would rest in my piercing holes, stretching them out a bit and causing pain. I won't wear them.Decent set for the price, but those earrings...

Comes in a nice velvet case, the chain is about 18 inches and it's a tad thin but doesn't take away from the necklace and earrings at all. The tiny flowers really pop next to the rainbow crystals. Great for a gift or for personal use. I did end up replacing the chain, I plan on giving these to my mother-in-law. I have a pair of earrings with cats in the same style and she said she loved them. So hopefully this will bring a smile to her face and get plenty of use in the months to come. Good all-around product.

I'm just obsessed with this set. It's beautiful and creative. The design is magnificent with.its colors and the vine roses. It's got a great weight to it and it's a perfect size. Not to small or big so it's not lackluster or overwhelming.

I got the "phoenix crystal" variant and it looks just like the product photos. The "phoenix" could really be a rabbit or a duck looking up but whatever you choose to see it's cute nonetheless.It comes in a sturdy and giftable jewelry box and the necklace/earrings are secured in place by plastic wrap so they're not rolling around in there.Overall happy with this set and would buy again. I especially like the mystic topaz looking crystal ring.
