this is a beautiful piece. I purchased this for my daughter. She Loved it!! She told me that it was one of her favorite gifts this Christmas. Within 5 days the extender broke (near the clasp). I'm not sure the extended part is .925 sterling silver (?).I was thankful that she noticed when it fell off her ankle or she would have lost it. It broke while she was just walking down the hall.I'm not sure what to do.....I am very disappointed that she went back to college without her anklet. I expected better quality. It is showing "unavailable" now........
