These freshwater pearls are very fine and a terrific choice for a girl's first princess strand. They would be lovely for a bride and will be a wonderful wardrobe asset for many years if handled gently, cleaned and kept secure. The wooden presentation box is also very nice and makes this a special gift. I have been looking for a first strand as a gift for many months. I finally bought these and I am quite pleased with them.

I bought this a few weeks ago when it was on sale, and it arrived in a fairly timely manner and was well packaged. The box it comes in is quite beautiful and matches my main jewelry box. Upon opening it, I was pleased. However, upon not-so-close inspection, I found multiple mars on the pearls' surfaces. The insert that came with the pearls reads: AAA pearls "have an excellent high luster, appear almost perfectly round, and have a 95+ % blemish free surface." The pearls have luster, though not quite as much as one would expect from 'AAA' pearls and they are slightly off-round; the size of the pearls is well matched and exactly what I wanted. I am very disappointed in the amount of blemishes on the pearls. Pearls are natural creation, and I expect some abnormalities. However, my mother was able to spot flaws on the majority of the pearls without her reading glasses on....Perhaps my necklace was a fluke. I really like the clasp, the box, the length, and the price I paid, so I would be thrilled if I could have a replacement with few marks, as advertised.

I purchased a nice pearl necklace from another web site for my niece's college graduation. When they arrived, I was quite underwhelmed, even though they had been graded AA they came in a plastic bag and just did not look like fine jewelry. A few days later, I saw this necklace on Amazon and ordered it. It is about the same price as the other but the difference is worlds apart. This necklace looks fabulous in the wood box, the clasp looks really great and works well, the color is nice and the pearls are uniform. My niece was stunned when she opened this gift. It was that beautiful. At the current price, this is very, very good deal.

I am always hesitant to buy jewelry online, but these were just beautiful. I'm not sure if the 1 negative reviewer just got a bad bunch, but the necklace I gave to my wife came with certification from GIA regarding pearl quality. I'm not a jeweler, but the pearls appear to have high luster and there were no large/obvious blemishes on close examination. The sizes match nicely. The box for presentation is just the icing on the cake. My wife really loves these and so do I.

These pearls are awesome. came in really classy looking box, best quality pearls you can get outside of mikimoto. My girlfriend loved them, but there was a problem. she felt really guilty about me getting them for her because she thinks they were so expensive. First christmas with her parents: win.
