When I received the watch winder the finish looked good and I particularly liked how the watch holders would secure my larger watches. The 46mm watch fit fine and the holder locked in the rotor securely. I could not put a ladies Rolex in the watch holder because the band was too small for the holder, or the holder was too large for the watch band. As an improvement it would be valuable to have two sizes of watch holders to accommodate smaller and larger watches.Unfortunately one of the winders did not work when I first started the unit. The top left winder stayed stationary and would not work. Thus, I returned the watch winder and once I receive my refund I will be buying a stronger name brand winder such as a Wolf or a Barrington. They cost more but hopefully will work. This watch holder was not cheap and cost more than $500. However, when I saw the instructions it was clear this was from China and just used a name to portray a Western Company.I cannot rate a product more than 1 star if it does not work properly when first received and turned on.So now I need to update my review. The seller took an extraordinary step of sending me a personal note apologizing for the problem I had and advised that this was the first time they had experienced such a problem. They sent me a free replacement, which was a gesture I felt was extra ordinary. I cannot remember any seller taking such a step and to me that is a very positive action that speaks to how this seller believe in their product and value their reputation. I will try this unit and will update my review once I have some additional history.I have updated my review to 3 stars based on such a response from the seller.I have now used the watch winder for a couple of weeks. It is working flawlessly and the motors are absolutely silent. I have also had continued follow up from the seller to be sure that the winder is working as expected and that I am satisfied with the unit. This goes above and beyond the type of service I have experienced with other sellers. Based on the exceptional customer service and the quality and performance of the replacement unit, I have increased my rating to 5 stars.Way to go! You have demonstrated to me you really understand the value of placing your customer first.

The Jins & Vico 8 Watch Winder arrived very well packaged in a triple box. Upon unpacking, I found the condition to be flawless, not even any dust from the packaging. The exterior is very well finished. The four feet on the bottom are a soft rubber material that are suitable for placing on a piece of furniture. The door, with the full length piano hinge is very solid, as well as the closing latch. The door closes with a very distinct latching sound. The latch includes a key and a limit switch to activate the light and stop the rotation upon opening the door, if you so program it.The pillows are spring loaded to allow the watch to securely hold the watch. They have padding to protect the finish on the watch back and band. I did not have any issue with the fit of the pillows, they worked right out of the box. Additional pads are provided if you needed to take up some additional slack if the spring travel is not sufficient. Because the watch is rotated horizontally, it must be securely held in place by the pillow. This winder came with two additional spare spring loaded pillows. They appear to be identical to the other eight pillows.The pillows snap into place within each individual winder. It is very secure and I found that I needed to hold on to the winder enclosure when inserting and removing the pillows to that the winder does not move on the furniture.Each of the eight winders is individually programable. I was able to look up the manufacturer recommendations for winding on a couple of watches, but could not find this information on the others. Basically, I started all of those watches at the minimum 650 RDP setting and then monitored the watch performance and increased the RPD to the next increment speed if it was keeping time slow, or in some cases stopped. The process of finding the right speed and rotation direction(s) took about 6 weeks. Obviously, I need to return each watch to it's specific location to maintain the proper rotational settings.This watch winder is very quiet. I tried to hear it run and was never sure that I could. If you place your hand on the exterior box, you can not feel it running - no vibration. There would be absolutely no issue keeping this Jins & Vico Winder in a bedroom. I have run mine for 4 months now and there has been no change in the sound level or operation.Let's face it, if your going to keep 8 beautiful watches in a winder, the winder needs to have that same look of quality/beauty as the watches. I am satisfied that this winder fits that requirement perfectly. This is my first watch winder, so I am not comparing it to others brands - just that I am please with this purchase.

The media could not be loaded.  My watches I keep in this beautiful winder: Breitling Navitimer 01 46mm, Breitling Navitimer 125th Anniversary Limited Edition 43mm, Rolex Submariner Two Tone 40mm, Rolex Vintage Datejust 36mm.Design: Very clean, luxurious, modern. Looks good in my home office in my high rise. Love the piano black and espresso combination. The glass is plexi material so it's hard to break. The walls of each watch compartment is plastic but there's a felt material inside that prevents your buckle from scratching.Functionality: Works well, able to wind watches in various weight categories without problems. All 8 compartments wind quietly. When the winder door is open, you can hear motor spinning at a very low volume almost like a motor hum which is common no matter what winder you have but when the door is closed, you cannot hear the motor running even with all 8 compartments winding simultaneously. The blue LED lightning is a very nice touch and the light reflecting off the watches when they're spinning makes makes them look cooler. I turn it on every night. The watch pillows pop in and out of each compartment easily.Digital Panel: Very easy to navigate and there's an indicator that tells you when a specific compartment is on or off.I like the switch in the back that allows the watches to either continue turning when the door is open and stop as well.Overall, it's probably the best bang for your buck in terms of quality and functionality.Seller's customer service is excellent as well as I exchanged some messages regarding my winder.
