Works well for my watch. I received the package and opened my watch back under 10 minutes.I didn't want to pay $20 to have my battery changed and watching YouTube videos of people using scissors, I didn't want to scratch my back case or slice my hand.I would dock half a star if possible though, the case it comes in with is really cheap plastic. One side is caved in more than the other side. But I don't care much about the case, to be overly concerned. All I wanted was the tool. The tool itself is pretty simple. Those of you who complain and give this product a bad rating because it didn't come with instructions need to know how tools work first. It's like buying a socket wrench set and complaining that it didn't come with instructions.Tool is pretty cool construction in my opinion. I like how the different bits screw on instead of other tools that just snap in and can fall out.To use the tool, you have the knob/screw to turn the two closer or out. The bottom one you turn the handle itself to move up or down.

It does the job you want it to do. Is it a fine piece of Swiss craftsmanship? No. There is a lot of slack. It does the job on bigger watches (like dive watches) and not all three-pin openers will fit bigger watches. Unfortunately, you can't fit it in the case with the pins in their seats, so you will probably want a bigger box to store it. And a way to organize the pins (which isn't provided) is a must if you're going to take them out all the time, you need to keep all three of each size together. Nonetheless, I'm glad to have it, and for about $10 the price is quite fair.

Works perfectly on my Invicta's. Easy to use tool. Keep in mind: if tool does not work smoothly to open back, you may have a "pop off back", some watches have notches on the back, but it does not mean it can be unscrewed.

Works very well, as expected. One thing. I have 5 Fossil watches. This wrench has three contact points, 120 degrees apart. It will also work if you need 180 degrees (Opposite ends of the watch back, just use the top two points on the wrench). Since my Fossil watches are all 180 degrees apart this ends up being actually too much tool and I could have purchased the less expensive ones on Amazon that have only two contact points. Just a heads up if anyone is interested in saving a few bucks, however this wrench is high quality and works very well. Turn the threads to adjust the contact points to match your watch back size, apply some pressure and it will turn right off. Opposite process works just as well. It costs $19 to send a watch to the Fossil repair shop in Texas + S&H for a single battery replacement. Wrench paid for itself already. For my use, A++

This product does work. It may take a little adjusting, and a small amount of mechanical aptitude. If you're even attempting to open your watch, you should be more than capable. As for the product, you're obviously not getting a precision tool for $14. The clamshell case is definitely not waterproof, but it's not typical to change watch batteries under water, so that shouldn't be an issue. As you can see in my photo, one of the keying pegs won't thread in fully. To remedy this, I simply backed off the other two pegs to the same level. The diameter adjustment is also a bit sloppy. I'd recommend making it larger than needed and reducing the diameter as needed. Even with these little hiccups, I had my watch open in under 3 minutes. The hardest part, for me, was holding the watch in one hand while applying pressure to remove the back cover. On a positive note, it's nice to have so many keying peg options, as not all watches are the same. Many of the cheaper options only have one style. That alone makes this worth the price, in my opinion.

This tool worked on my Invicta Pro Diver model 6086. This watch has a large case and I needed a tool that could extend to it's size. It easily adjusted to the needed size; a little amount of effort was needed to figure it out. I found the supplied inserts had a set that fit my watch's back. Once I had the correct inserts installed the tool removed the back easily. As a side note, I found an unpleasant surprise when I opened my watch. Previously I have had my batteries changed by a watch repair site. When I opened the watch I found the water sealing o-ring was not installed correctly. It was 'stuffed' inside the watch, not installed at the rim as correct. Also, the o-ring was too large to fit around the rim. I don't know if it was the original o-ring that got stretched or just a wrong size that came from somewhere. What ever the cause, my Pro Diver water seal was nil. If I had wore it in the ocean or pool it would have been ruined. Bummer. So, I'm feeling that going forward I need to change the batteries on my watches myself. Also, I need to open my other Invicta and check it.

Have you ever experienced the the "feel" of one of those German or Swiss made tools where every knob and thread feels smooth and the fit of the pieces is perfect with tolerances down to the fractions of a millimeter? This is the Opposite of that. The whole tool wobbles and rattles. If you tighten the screws, the knurled adjustment wheel "catches" and gets stuck so you have to force it in odd directions it to get it to continue rotating. There's casting and injection flash in metal and plastic parts respectively and I had to file the adjustment wheel openings to get it to work, and even after filing the operation was still a bit forced and awkward. Then why 4 stars?Mainly because I couldn't give it 3.5 but as the headline states it does what it's supposed to. Once fixed and set to the proper length opening the watch case lid (42mm in my case) was effortless, and there's plenty of room for larger ones, the attachments for different types of clasps worked and look usable for other models, and the tool, albeit rustic is all metal and feels solid, and the sturdy construction allow for servicing, which obviously shouldn't be necessary for a new tool but it's better than having to return it.
