The media could not be loaded.  This combo box is perfect for someone like me whose EDC isn’t so everyday. I’ve always liked swapping between a few of my favorite pieces and I love that this lets me pick between my 2 favorite watches and knives each day. I have a few other H&H boxes and now the existing ones can hold my larger collection that doesn't get as much use while this can be for the items that I use all the time. The hinged top is awesome, and the seem is right on the top of the wood, so it’s not obstructive at all. The posts go on and off easily and feel secure when attached. And I like the idea of being able to swap posts out in the future if I decide I want 3 watches instead of 2 for example.

There are few items that comes in a box that is almost just as nice as the product inside. This is a very nice giftable Display case for anyone who likes to show off your watch and/or knife or small item collections. The look and feel of it is very rich and will impress.

I originally purchased a watch deck from this brand for my husband -- it holds four of his oversized watches and I was so impressed with the quality, workmanship and presentation, that I decided to order this combination watch and knife deck for him, as well. This is every bit as nice as the watch caae and they look great together (I chose the walnut finish for both). He actually only has one nice pocketknife right now, but I figured a second one would make a great Christmas giftThere is a short video embedded in the product description showing the packaging, but IMO, it doesn't do it justice. This deck would make a wonderful gift and it would be so much fun to open it. I know, because I opened the original watch deck! I made sure that my husband opened this one and it was definitely an event. The case arrived very well packaged to prevent any type of damage during transit. There is a very sturdy outer shipping box, and inside is a fancy but durable blackish/grey gift box with an outer sleeve. If giving this item as a gift, just putting a big bow on the gift box would be perfect! Removing the sleeve allows one to lift off the full-length lid, and the hinged front piece of the box folds open to reveal the combo deck, making it easy to pull out. It is protected by perfectly fitting styrofoam block (not the messy kind that has little pieces going all over the place). Once those are pulled away, the case is ready to use...The deck is actually quite large. The dimensions are shown in the Q&A section near the bottom of the product description. It is 15" X 6.5" X 5.5" which doesn't really sound all that big. I wasn't too surprised about the size since this is the second item I ordered from this collection. But I was definitely surprised the first time, and this case is little larger. Both of them together take up quite a bit of space on my husband's dresser. If space is limited, I would recommend using a ruler or measuring tape to make sure this will fit in the intended place. It is also heavy for its size and very well made with careful attention to detail. The color of the walnut finish is stunning and it is beautifully finished. I really like the hinged lid which makes it easy to access the contents. I find this to be so much nicer than the cases with a lift-off lid, as there is no need to find a place to set it down securely. The acrylic lid is thick and heavy -- there is nothing remotely flimsy about the lid (or any of the rest of this deck). The pillars are robust and smoothly finished. They snap securely into place in a socket and can be switched around to display the watches and pocketknives as desired: KKWW, KWKW, WKWK,WWKK, WKKW, KWWK... Or one can buy an extra set of 4 pillars to display all watches or all knives (these come with the pro model). Watches simply slip over two of the pillars and rest on the platform of the deck. Pocketknives are held in grooves in the other two pillars. There is no padding on the platform to protect either the surface of the wood or the watches/knives from scratches or nicks as there is on the pro-level cases, but a very nice faux-leather pad designed to fit perfectly is available separately, which I would definitely recommend. The lined drawer is generously sized and it glides open and closed easily with no grating and no tilting. There is room for a few accessories, plus two small wooden cradles for holding a couple of additional knives, and small compartments for rings or cuff-links and the like.I actually found the Holme & Hadfield brand by accident as I was looking for something else. I had no idea that such luxe, well-designed but affordable cases for watches and other collectibles were available. Truly, the quality is outstanding. I am so glad to have stumbled across these and the various styles available. I had a hard time making a choice between this version and the pro-model that comes with a few extras, but ultimately the price won me over. I definitely feel as if I got my money's worth and then some so I would definitely recommend this brand to others. I am already looking at the nightstand organizers from this brand for my adult son.

What a great way to present my EDC (Every Day Carry) items, including my watches and knives. You can see that this case provides room for me to display 2 knives and two watches, and then there's room in the drawer for extra straps, other knives, tie tacks, and other items that make up my EDC rotation. The wooden drawer is riding on wooden rails, so the friction is just a tad higher than I like. I would suggest to the manufacturer that providing nylon rails would have been an incrementally nicer feel consistent with the rest of the product, but it's fine like it is. I placed high friction adhesive feet on the bottom of this case, and as such, when I pull out the drawer, the case doesn't slide.I must say that the case was very, very nicely packed, and it was an adventure just unwrapping this case, as the anticipation of a high quality product was building with boxes and padding that was so well engineered became apparent when unboxing. Kudos to the design team for this great presentation. All in all, this case will serve me well in the years to come. If it were larger (whidh this company makes), it would not fit in the space I have in our walk in closet. I like it so much I purchased another just like it for my study to carry my overflow. items that I don't use as often.

Based on past ownership of this brand, we are very impressed with the quality of their products. The packaging alone is more impressive than any product we've ever seen. It is packed extremely well with amazing attention to protection, not to mention a superb gift presentation look. The wood appears very high-end -- true furniture grade that is nothing like the cheaply made particleboard products you normally see. The acrylic lid is crystal clear as well, and it has excellent, perfectly aligned hinges. Highly recommended display case!

I don't have a bunch of high end knives or multiple watches. But I was interested to organize my entry level collection of knives.I felt it was a little misleading to advertise modularity and "customize your display how you want" but then realized that just meant I could do watch, knife, watch, knife, or knife, watch, watch, knife - just rearrange the 4 included pillars not display 4 knives. I would have to buy 4 more pillars at half the cost of the whole unit to display 4 knives instead of just 2.The build quality is superb. The hinges and drawer slides are great. The packaging of the item is above and beyond, no scratches or scuffs at all.The pay to play modularity is a little frustrating for me. I would also note that larger knives e.g. most fixed blades will likely not fit. Folders only as best I can tell. Possibly could put some small fixed blades in the drawer.
