I don't care for the silicon bands as I sweat underneath the band. And the leather ones typically remain too stiff and hard to get the right adjustment. I have tried numerous "stretchy" bands. With many, the button on the pin stands up because there is no recess for that button once it's connected to the watch. For me, that button was catching on clothing of whatever else and disconnecting, resulting in the watch hitting the floor.These have enough of a recess so that never happens. And the quick release on the band is very useful. Adjust the band once and no need to guess on how tight the band will be.
