Super beefy and solid . Like the amphibian, it has a 31 ruby jeweled movement. A little over 40 hours of reserve.The stainless steel band is two toned with the center of the links highly polished giving it a really nice look, and very comfortable to wear. The bezel is bi-directional. Mine has been running around 3 seconds fast a day.One thing to keep in mind, these watches have a regulator lever on the movement. You can have it adjusted to speed up or slow down the watch movement to achieve almost perfect time for a mechanical watch. Hope this helps some of the reviewers who said there watches were running -20 to +40 seconds a day.
