This watch, the VOSTOK "AMPHIBIA" K-71 (Catalogue no: 2416 / 710640) is an impeccable timepiece. No wonder in comparison to 'high' quality watches like Rolex & the like this was tested up against in the early days of production/innovation. It stands as a true competitor & wins in most cases in terms of the fundamentals. No diamonds or gold fancy additions; just plain old-fashioned top-knotch craftsmanship.This thing is surprisingly accurate (in my opinion) and was even still running when it arrived to my home. The shipping speed was decent, unlike some other reviewers here have stated; and the provider of these watches from this shop on Amazon here were very friendly. I highly recommend this watch, especially purchasing it from this store.As far as accuracy goes; you can't really go wrong. Though this is an Automatic (Mechanical) watch, it does indeed keep pretty decent time. Mine only gains about 6-9 seconds or less a day & I've found it to run smoothly once set to an atomic clock for at least the first 6-7 hours of wear; which isn't bad at all. If you have to complain about that, then maybe you shouldn't be using mechanical timepieces in the first place ^^ Also I've been setting it about 3-5 seconds slow to an atomic clock so in a day or less it catches up to actual time & decently stays put.It's about quality. And this by far, is the only watch that has made me this proud to own in a very long time. Thank you for providing such high quality items; I will cherish this watch for years to come!Nostrovia!

Watch looks great and wears well. Great value for a self-winding automatic. Time is accurate enough but I wish the power reserve was more than 25 hours. So I simply wind the watch and set the time when I take it off at the end of the day.

The watch is very cool to look at and wear. Haven’t had an opportunity to monitor the accuracy because it just arrived today. For about $120, it’s a pretty decent watch. It’s 200m water resistant but I wouldn’t dive with it. It’s more of a cool nostalgic watch and should look good with jeans and shorts. The band is pretty simple and adds to the overall appearance. It has a pretty solid build and it’s made out of stainless steel.Setting the time is at bit challenging because the crown keeps catching on the threading of the case. To set the date you have to go forwards and backwards at the midnight mark to advance the date.The bezel doesn’t have a ratchet and it rotates both ways so it won’t serve as an effective dive watch. The dial is really attractive and I love the retro look. The hands are luminous and visible in low light.Might not buy this particular line of watches in the future but will most likely buy the higher end Vostok watches.

This is an incredibly beautiful watch for the money, i looked online to see what this watch was about and the company , and this company when initially started took apart a rolex and made theres better, same 31 jewel mechanism as a rolex , to their watches, big selling point to me , same company that there first astronauts wore in the first flight in space . looking forward to buying more .

JUNKThe instructions are in a language other than English to set the date you must go through a complete 24 hour cycle, it must be constantly worn it's not worn for one day it will stop working would not purchase again cannot recommend.

Watch itself is fine but there is no way to size the metel mesh bracelet without actually cutting the metal. This is not your typical mesh bracelet where you can slide the back to your size. No, this one has no slide. its crazy!
