There is no way to tell from the picture, but this ring is very large: 1 and 1/8” length of the copper band on the top, and the stone raises about 3/8” from the mount. I have large hands and this covers almost the full length of the ring finger’s first phalange. For smaller hands, chances are one could not flex the finger with this ring on. Great protection, but not comfy for smaller fingers. The opening is adjustable, doesn’t take excessive force to open it up larger or tighten the ring smaller. Because of the large inside surface of the band, this ring doesn’t put much pressure, doesn’t feel tight. But it is real big.On the bright side, this has a very interesting look: the natural stone has a lot of personality, apart from having the surface polished everything else is rough and natural, the shape is irregular and the pattern of veins and imperfections are unmistakable natural. The stone mount is very well made, sturdy and tailored to the stone’s base contour, very good craftsmanship. The deep brown patina and hammered pattern makes it look somehow medieval, like a piece of jewelry from other times. A lot of personality to this ring.

This is a very unique ring. It is a lovely deep copper color with an exquisite large turquoise stone on the top. It is solid and the copper band is pretty strong, it is adjustable to fit your ring finger or your thumb if you like. It is heavier than most rings I wear, but if you want to make a statement with your jewelry then this piece is it! WOW! The copper has a nice aged dark look to it which compliments the turquoise. I am very happy with this item and look forward to wearing it well.
