Origin of the Viking Bracelet
In the 8th century AD in faraway Norway lived a bloodthirsty and murderous people, the Vikings.
At an early age, ‘Viking' boys were already practising combat, swordsmanship, sail handling and other survival skills. When a child comes of age, their father gives them a silver bracelet at a bar mitzvah, which they carry with them for the rest of their lives, until they die in battle.
The bracelet represents courage and is the key to entering Valhalla after death.
