I had no problems, works perfectly, I assume the batteries will die in the next year, but the case is still nice and velvety, to store the ring later. I am using for a re-proposal for our 25th anniversary, with a very late upgrade. It is quite bright when it opens so I am going to have to go slow. Give time for her eyes to adjust, but brings out the sparkle perfectly, tried to capture in my pics. Order early because if you get a dud there is no ability to change the battery, or order two and send one back, just to be on the safe side.

The media could not be loaded.  Quality is great. Strong spring. Holds tightly closed and doesn’t creep open at all. Construction is great inside and out! Tight fabric, soft with a deep black that absorbs the light perfectly. The slot for the ring is perfect, tight enough to hold when shaken lightly (simulate being bumped when open or it being closed and in a coat pocket), and still loose enough to pull the ring out easily. Light is at a perfect angle. Super bright! In fact, this box lights up a dark room about as well as my cellphone flashlight. Illuminates the ring so well that pulling it out makes the ring look a tad less impressive lol.The only bad thing I have to say about this is that the engagement ring I got it for has side-profile designs and diamonds going about 2/3 down. To show off these details in the box I would have to slightly push the ring in the slot with 2/3 of the ring exposed above slot. However, when you close it, the lid pushes the ring all the way leaving about 1/3 of the ring exposed out of the slot (see video).I thought about it and realized I’m absolutely fine with that. The lid secures the ring in its place so it won’t slide, turn, shift, move or fall out of its place. So if I put it dead-center it stays dead-center. Plus, she’s going to have a lifetime to enjoy all the details of the ring once she says “yes”… if she plays her cards right jk lol.It’s about presentation and to get a good presentation this box secures its precious cargo perfectly and illuminates it better than expected and better than any picture of video can capture.Hope the review and video helps.

The media could not be loaded.  This was perfect as it was cheap came in a great looking box, and it made the ring look a lot more expensive. I used this ring, knowing that we would shop for something better or more expensive to my girls liking. I propose to my lady at the flamingo, go pool in front of a bunch of friends at our cabanadidn’t have to worry about losing the ring or it getting stolen, slipping into the pool, as it did not cost that much and served its purpose. Looks even better when it’s dark setting as the little light shines the ring inside.

I grabbed this box because the box the engagement ring for my fiancé came in was simply too big for travel. This box was the perfect size and the LED light inside made the diamond sparkle where I proposed. I would absolutely recommend this box for both travel and if you are planning to propose in an area where lighting is not ideal, as this little box helped create an unforgettable experience for me and my fiancé that we will cherish forever.
