This doesn't come in a protective box, so the rose is pretty squished and flat when it arrives to you. There's no clasp or anything to get the rose to stay on the right spot; no specific loop on the back of the rose to get it to stay faceing up and not drooping. This choker requires you to tie it around your neck which means it has many looks but it can get dangerous if the knot is made too tight (as in it can't be undone easily) or someone or something pulls on it.

This is basically just a chiffon rose on a string, but it has a big impact when you want a little touch of drama. The rose came pretty smushed, but fluffed up easily with my fingers. Nice that you can just wrap it around and tie it how you want it.

The choker looks like the picture. The actual rose is satin and quite flat. It’s glued onto a piece of felt that is then glued onto the necklace string. The strings are a bit resistant to tying, if that makes sense, because of their thickness. Like if you’ve ever tried tying a knot with a thicker nylon rope then you know what I mean. So sometimes the strings just dangle awkwardly? Maybe I don’t know how to wear it better but from the neck up it looks fine

For openers, despite the description there's nothing "big" about this necklace. Even after opening the package and doing a bit of fluffing, the rose is on the small side and is flatter than the description photos shows. That said, it's cute - and our granddaughter, who has "Rose" in her name and often wears black - likes it. Very long ties wrap around the neck, or I guess it could be used as a pendant necklace or even a tie around the waist.
