I gifted this to my 99yo mother who I have purchased other ones for years. This one is pretty and has numbers that are fairly large. The band had decoration too. Although she can't see it very well because of vision conditions, she gets a lot of compliments from others regarding her watch - she loves that.The potential downsides may be short battery life (though they can be replaced at jewelry store), and the design on the band wears off. She has been wearing it for 5 months and so far it is holding up well.
